Protecting the rights of pedestrians

 


Riding or parking mini electric two-wheel vehicles on the sidewalk is strictly forbidden

Pedestrian sidewalks include not only walkways distinct from roads, but also covered walkways, pedestrian bridges, pedestrian underpasses and print marked sidewalks.

In order ensure the safety of pedestrians, motor vehicles cannot be driven or parked on pedestrian sidewalks. In the case of mini electric two-wheel vehicles, motorists who violate this provision can be fined a maximum of NT$1,200.
